WhyTo prevent orders from going out of sync the system locks the order at certain times to prevent other users making changes while someone else is working on it.

This means that at times a user may come across the following message to advise them that someone has been working on this order.



However, under certain circumstances the lock may not be released once the user completes or the user forgets to complete the edit which would have then prevented the order from being stuck.


Users can now manually unlock the order under these conditions.

WhereDispatcher > Select locked order > Skip Status > 'Clear Order Lock'
How

Step 1. Attempt to find the screen where the order is being edited and complete the edit. 


If you are unable to find the editing order will mean that somehow the order lock wasn't released and requires manual unlocking.


Step 2. Within the Dispatcher, select the locked order and then 'Skip Status'.


Step 3. Select 'Clear Order Lock' which will then remove the lock.




Note: Any order in the process of being edited can't be completed once the order is dispatched and user would needs to exit out.
