1. Introduction

Andromeda Go is our newest app, that will give all your employees a better experience with our system. It will allow your drivers to self-dispatch orders, which will automatically reflect on the Andromeda POS. This will save a lot time and will ensure a better performance during rush hours. Also, your employees will be able to see their schedule and keep track of any changes in real time, which will give you a better collaboration with all your staff and will save you time in sending your schedule in any different communication channels.

From the employee file, press the Andromeda Go Access Code button. 3. Andromeda Go Guide:

  • Once you have setup your Andromeda Go app, there are two modes, you can use it. First one is the default “Dispatcher mode” and the second one is the “Self-Dispatch mode”. If you would like to switch the mode, you can simply contact our Helpdesk team, who will be able to assist you.

    I. Self-Dispatch mode – with the self-dispatch mode, you won’t need a separate person standing in-front of the dispatcher screen in the store and keep track of all orders and drivers’ status, so he can dispatch orders manually. Everything will happen automatically on the POS side – as soon as the driver self-dispatch an order from Andromeda Go app – it will automatically change status on the POS to “On the road” and will be allocated to that driver. Then once the driver completes the delivery on the app, it will again automatically reflect on the POS.

  • Log in to Andromeda POS and get yourself clocked in. Then from the home page of the app, you will be able to see if there are delivery orders on “Ready” status. They will appear in red right next to the “Deliver Plus” button, as on the picture above.
  • Press the “Deliver Plus” button and you will see all delivery orders on “Ready” status:
  • You can select up to 3 orders and self-dispatch them. Simply check all orders and select the desired ones, then press “Done”.
  • You will then see the “Great Pick!” window, which will ask you to confirm the selected orders, as on the right picture above. If you don’t want to change the selected orders, press “Confirm” and with this you will be assigned with the selected orders. On that stage, on the POS, your driver will be changed from “Instore” to “Out for Delivery”, the selected orders will be automatically assigned to you and will change their status from “Ready” to “On the road”.
  • From the Andromeda Go app, you will be redirected to a screen, which will show you all of the selected orders. You can check the items inside each order; you can check the address of the order and see the customer’s details. Once you are ready to start the delivery, you should choose the order that you will start first and use the slider bar to start the delivery:
  • Once you have started the delivery, you will have an option to “Unstart Delivering” if you have changed your mind, or something gone wrong. You will still be able to check the items, and see all customer details. Once you have delivered the order, you just need to use the slider bar and complete the delivery.

  • As Andromeda Go uses your location, if you are not close enough to the delivery address, when completing the delivery, you will be asked to make sure, that you are on the right address. If you believe you are on the correct address, press “Complete Anyway” and with this you will fully complete your delivery:
  • You will then be redirected to the below window, from which you will have the option to “Uncomplete” the delivery, if you have completed it by mistake. If everything is all right, you should press the “Continue” button. On this stage from the POS side, your driver will still be “On the road”, as you should still return to the store.
  • From the below window, you can again use the slider bar, once you have returned in-store. From this screen, you have an option to see the store location on the map, or directly call the store with one quick button. Once you are back at the store, simply slide the bar and with this your delivery will be finished. From the POS side, your status will automatically change to “Instore”, the order status will be changed to “Completed” and you will be ready to self-assign your next order.

II. Dispatcher Mode – this is the default mode, which won’t allow the drivers to self-dispatch an order. This is suitable, if you have additional person, who will be able to manually dispatch orders to drivers and then cash them off. This way that person can keep track of all deliveries and minimize the risk factor of mistakes during busy periods. He or she will have a clear track of each order and the driver who is delivering it.

  • The only difference, would be, that the drivers won’t be able to see and choose a delivery order on the app, instead the delivery order should be manually dispatched to a driver from the POS Dispatcher screen.
  • Once a delivery order is dispatched to a driver – he or she will receive a notification on their phone to notify them that an order was dispatched to them and they should start delivering it:
  • When the drivers open the Andromeda Go app, they will see the order allocated to them and will be able to start the delivery by the slide bar. Everything after that would be the same as on the self-dispatcher mode.

III. Schedule - From the Andromeda Go home page, you are able to also, see your schedule. You have the ability to check previous weeks or check the next few weeks. You will see all your shifts in real time, this means, that if any changes are done to the schedule, you will be able to stay on track and never be late for a shift:
